SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) has made electronic procurement of Engineering, Financial, and Program Management support services a reality. Using SeaPort-e, the Navy Virtual SYSCOM (VS) Commander (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR) has adopted an integrated approach to contracting for support services. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized means of issuing competitive solicitations amongst a large & diverse community of approved contractors, as well as a platform for awarding & managing performance-based task orders. This unified approach allows SeaPort-e service procurement teams to leverage their best work products, practices, & approaches across the Navy's critical service business sector.

Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance Reviews occur on a regular basis to verify that project work is being completed in accordance with our high standards and to verify continuing satisfaction. We have designed a process that targets points within our business practices to allow uniformity in approach and involvement of appropriate resources. The process identifies key checkpoints to manage delivery risk and assess client satisfaction:

Manage delivery risk - Risk Management personnel and subject matter specialists assess work and progress and identify potential risks. They also assist the project team in developing plans to mitigate these risks and improve the quality of the deliverables.
Assess client satisfaction - on a selected basis, we monitor client satisfaction through independent reviews conducted by a Partner and/or an outside consulting firm.

Sage utilizes the following tools to assist with reviews:  

Project Quality Review - Personnel who are experienced in project management and the functions and technologies that are employed in the project will conduct periodic third-party Project Quality Reviews.
Client Expectations Review - recognizing that you are the final judge of quality; an independent reviewer will periodically meet with you to conduct a Client Expectations Review. A Sage partner typically performs these reviews.
